Current By-Law:
Section 2. General Meetings. A general meeting of the members shall be held after the first day of each year, but not later than the first week of March. This general meeting shall be the annual vision meeting. The purpose of this meeting shall be to review and report for the ministries of the church and to elect trustees. Any other proper business may be conducted at this meeting. A special meeting shall be called for the election of the Senior Leader.

Proposed Change:

This general meeting shall be the annual vision meeting. The purpose of this meeting shall be to review and report for the ministries of the church and to elect trustees. Any other proper business may be conducted at this meeting. A special meeting shall be called for the election of the Senior Leader.

Reason for Proposed Change: This adjustment provides additional time at the beginning of the year to finalize the church’s financials and ensure members have the opportunity to review the yearly report prior to the annual vision meeting.
